The house

The Cake Hub ZA began from a simple dissatisfaction with the contemporary bakery cake: too smooth, too themed, too little evidence of a hand. We returned to vintage piping — the patient architecture of shells, lace, drapery and bows — and set it on sponges that belong to now.

The collection is small on purpose. Each signature is a grammar we can repeat, vary and personalise without becoming a novelty shop. Corporate work sits beside private tables, not beneath them: a gifting programme should carry the same finish as a birthday.

We do not take walk-in orders. Cakes are scheduled after an enquiry, a confirmation of the date, and an agreement on the details. Payment is arranged then — not at the first click.
